DeleteSecurityGroup Method

Removes a Security Group.

Syntax

Public Sub DeleteSecurityGroup(ByVal GroupName As String)

public void DeleteSecurityGroup(string groupName);

Remarks

DeleteSecurityGroup will permanently remove the group defined by GroupName.

If you attempt to delete a security group that contains running instances, the security group will not be removed.

If you attempt to delete a security group that is referenced by another security group, the security group will not be removed.
