PAAPI Component

The PAAPI Component provides an easy interface to Amazon Associates Web Service (formerly known as "ECS").

Remarks

The PAAPI Component allows you to access Amazon's product data and e-commerce functionality, allowing developers, web site creators and any online services to easily use the data and functionality that Amazon exposes to power its own e-commerce business. The PAAPI Component makes it very easy for developers to create rich, highly effective applications and web sites. Please refer to Amazon Associates documentation for further details.

You will first need to sign up for the PAAPI service and obtain the AccessKey from Amazon. Then you can start polling Amazon's PAAPI servers for data and making online transactions.

You may need to refer to Amazon's website for a full list of available functionality.

AssociateTagThe Associate Tag for the Amazon Web Services account.
AttrBaseThe relative path to the attributes wanted per item.
FirewallA set of properties related to firewall access.
ItemASINReturns the ASIN of the item at ItemIndex .
ItemAttrsThe total number of attributes for the current item.
ItemCountThe total number of items in the response.
ItemIndexThe index of the current Item in the response.
ItemTypePopulated when the Item Type is determined by the component.
ItemXMLReturns the full item XML subtree for the item at ItemIndex .
LocalHostThe name of the local host or user-assigned IP interface through which connections are initiated or accepted.
OperationThe operation which will be executed by the PAAPI component.
OtherHeadersOther headers as determined by the user (optional).
ParamsA collection of parameters for the current PAAPI operation.
ProxyA set of properties related to proxy access.
SecretKeyThe Secret Access Key for the Amazon Web Services account.
ServiceURLThis is the locale to which you want to send the request.
SSLAcceptServerCertInstructs the component to unconditionally accept the server certificate that matches the supplied certificate.
SSLCertThe certificate to be used during SSL negotiation.
SSLServerCertThe server certificate for the last established connection.
StatusLineThe first line of the last server response.
TimeoutA timeout for the component.
XAttrThe attributes of the current element.
XChildrenCollection of child elements of the current element.
XElementThe name of the current element.
XNamespaceThe namespace of the current element.
XParentThe parent of the current element.
XPathProvides a way to point to a specific element in the document.
XPrefixThe prefix of the current element.
XSubTreeA snapshot of the current element in the document.
