TransactionType Property

The type of e-commerce transaction.

Syntax

 tsyshcecommerce.getTransactionType([callback])
 tsyshcecommerce.setTransactionType( transactionType, [callback])

Possible Values

  0 (dmtECommerce), 
  1 (dmtMOTO), 
  2 (dmtRecurring), 
  3 (dmtInstallment)

Default Value

Callback

The 'callback' parameter specifies a function which will be called when the operation completes (or an error is encountered). If the 'callback' parameter is not specified, then the method will block and will not return until the operation completes (or an error is encountered).

The callback for the getTransactionType([callback]) method is defined as:

function(err, data){ }

'err' is the error that occurred. If there was no error, then 'err' is 'null'.

'data' is the value returned by the method.

The callback for the setTransactionType([callback]) method is defined as:

function(err){ }

'err' is the error that occurred. If there was no error, then 'err' is 'null'.

'err' has 2 properties which hold detailed information:

err.code
err.message

Remarks

This property allows you to specify the type of e-commerce transaction that you are performing. Valid values are:


dttECommerce (0)	E-Commerce transaction.
dttMOTO (1)	One time Mail Order or Telephone Order transaction.
dttRecurring (2)	Recurring Mail/Telephone Order transaction.
dttInstallment (3)	Installment payment. For example, "Three easy payments of $19.95". Installment details are specified using ClearingSequenceCount and ClearingSequenceNumber.
