ResponseTransactionFee Property

Transaction Fee Amount is used in PIN POS transactions to carry the acquirer-assessed surcharge for informational purposes only.

Callback

The 'callback' parameter specifies a function which will be called when the operation completes (or an error is encountered). If the 'callback' parameter is not specified, then the method will block and will not return until the operation completes (or an error is encountered).

The callback for the getResponseTransactionFee([callback]) method is defined as:

function(err, data){ }

'err' is the error that occurred. If there was no error, then 'err' is 'null'.

'data' is the value returned by the method.

The callback for the setResponseTransactionFee([callback]) method is defined as:

function(err){ }

'err' is the error that occurred. If there was no error, then 'err' is 'null'.

'err' has 2 properties which hold detailed information:

err.code
err.message

Remarks

Transaction Fee Amount is used in PIN POS transactions to carry the acquirer-assessed surcharge for informational purposes only. This property can be zero length or nine alphanumeric characters in length. The format of the nine characters is "annnnnnnn" where "a" is either "D" for debit or "C" for credit and where "nnnnnnnn" is the numeric fee amount with the decimal implied. Example: "D00000150" is a $1.50 transaction fee amount for a debit transaction.
