QuickAdd Method
Creates a new event in the specified calendar.
Syntax
gcalendar.quickAdd(eventDetails, [callback])
Callback
The 'callback' parameter specifies a function which will be called when the operation completes (or an error is encountered). If the 'callback' parameter is not specified, then the method will block and will not return until the operation completes (or an error is encountered).
The callback for this method is defined as:
function(err, data){ }
'err' is the error that occurred. If there was no error, then 'err' is 'null'.
'data' is the value returned by the method.
'err' has 2 properties which hold detailed information:
err.code err.message
Remarks
This method creates a new event in the calendar specified by CalendarId. The text specified by eventDetails is sent to Google where it is automatically interpreted and parsed and an event is created.
There are no strict rules about the format of the eventDetails parameter. Values such as
Brunch with Mom at Java 11am SundayAre acceptable as are simpler and more complex values. Consult the Google documentation for more information on the Quick Add feature of Google Calendars.
