FeedURL Property

The URL of a Google Contacts feed.

Syntax

 gcontacts.getFeedURL([callback])
 gcontacts.setFeedURL( feedURL, [callback])

Default Value

"https://www.google.com/m8/feeds/contacts/[user]/full"

Callback

The 'callback' parameter specifies a function which will be called when the operation completes (or an error is encountered). If the 'callback' parameter is not specified, then the method will block and will not return until the operation completes (or an error is encountered).

The callback for the getFeedURL([callback]) method is defined as:

function(err, data){ }

'err' is the error that occurred. If there was no error, then 'err' is 'null'.

'data' is the value returned by the method.

The callback for the setFeedURL([callback]) method is defined as:

function(err){ }

'err' is the error that occurred. If there was no error, then 'err' is 'null'.

'err' has 2 properties which hold detailed information:

err.code
err.message

Remarks

This property contains the URL of the Google Contacts feed. This value will be populated with the default URL of the Contacts feed once User is set, which is in the form: https://www.google.com/m8/feeds/contacts/[user]/full

This property is used to specify the URL that QueryContacts will send a request to. You can change the value if you wish to send the request to a different URL.

This property is not available at design time.
