InsertEntity Method
Inserts a new entity into a table.
Syntax
table.insertEntity(partitionKey, rowKey, [callback])
Callback
The 'callback' parameter specifies a function which will be called when the operation completes (or an error is encountered). If the 'callback' parameter is not specified, then the method will block and will not return until the operation completes (or an error is encountered).
The callback for this method is defined as:
function(err){ }
'err' is the error that occurred. If there was no error, then 'err' is 'null'.
'err' has 2 properties which hold detailed information:
err.code err.message
Remarks
This method inserts a new entity into a table.
The PartitionKey and RowKey parameters must be specified. the Azure Table service uses these values to construct a primary key which must be unique within the table.
The PartitionKey and RowKey may each have a value up to 64 KB in size. The Azure Table service will perform sorting based on the name of the keys. If you are using a numeric value you should pad the value with 0's to create a fixed-width string to ensure proper sorting. For instance you should convert the value 1 to 0000001.
