PersistentConnection Property

Instructs the activity whether to keep the connection to the server open.

If set to true, the activity will first attempt to use an existing connection. If no such connection exists, it will create a new connection. When the activity completes, it will persist the connection so that the activity will reuse it during the next polling interval. Setting this property to true can improve performance if you are polling very frequently.
