ReferenceCanonicalizationMethod Property

Use this property to specify the canonicalization method for the transform of the reference.

Syntax

 xadesverifier.getReferenceCanonicalizationMethod(index, [callback])

Possible Values

  0 (cxcmNone),
  1 (cxcmCanon),
  2 (cxcmCanonComment),
  3 (cxcmExclCanon),
  4 (cxcmExclCanonComment),
  5 (cxcmMinCanon),
  6 (cxcmCanon_v1_1),
  7 (cxcmCanonComment_v1_1)

Default Value

0

Callback

The 'callback' parameter specifies a function which will be called when the operation completes (or an error is encountered). If the 'callback' parameter is not specified, then the method will block and will not return until the operation completes (or an error is encountered).

The callback for the getReferenceCanonicalizationMethod([callback]) method is defined as:

function(err, data){ }

'err' is the error that occurred. If there was no error, then 'err' is 'null'.

'data' is the value returned by the method.

The callback for the setReferenceCanonicalizationMethod([callback]) method is defined as:

function(err){ }

'err' is the error that occurred. If there was no error, then 'err' is 'null'.

'err' has 2 properties which hold detailed information:

err.code
err.message

Remarks

Use this property to specify the canonicalization method for the transform of the reference. Use cxcmNone value to not to include canonicalization transform in transform chain. See XML-Signature Syntax and Processing specification for details.

cxcmNone0
cxcmCanon1
cxcmCanonComment2
cxcmExclCanon3
cxcmExclCanonComment4
cxcmMinCanon5
cxcmCanon_v1_16
cxcmCanonComment_v1_17

The index parameter specifies the index of the item in the array. The size of the array is controlled by the ReferenceCount property.

This property is read-only and not available at design time.
