ClearTextSign Method

Creates a cleartext signature over the provided data.

Syntax

QByteArray ClearTextSign(const QByteArray& qbaBuffer, int iStartIndex, int iCount);

Remarks

Call this method to create a cleartext signature over the provided data buffer. Only textual data can be signed in cleartext.

Pass the signing key(s) via SigningKeys property.

Error Handling

This method returns a Byte Array value; after it returns, call the GetLastErrorCode() method to obtain its result code; 0 indicates success, while a non-zero error code indicates that this method encountered an error during its execution. If an error occurs, the GetLastError() method can be called to retrieve the associated error message.
