GetProfile Method

Download the message set profile for a given Financial Institution.

Syntax

int GetProfile();

Remarks

This function generates the Signon and FIProfile request page, submits it to the financial institution via HTTP, receives the response, and parses it. Individual transactions are downloaded with the statement.

Read-only properties that are populated as a result of response parsing include:

• FICountry
• FICustomerServicePhone
• FIEmailAddress
• FIHomePage
• FIName
• FIPostalCode
• FIProfileDate
• FIState
• FITechSupportPhone
• MessageSets

Error Handling

This method returns a result code; 0 indicates success, while a non-zero error code indicates that this method encountered an error during its execution. If an error occurs, the GetLastError() method can be called to retrieve the associated error message. (Note: This method's result code can also be obtained by calling the GetLastErrorCode() method after it returns.)
