Protocol Property

The Bluetooth protocol to be used.

Syntax

btportcontrol.Protocol[=integer]

Possible Values

  btpRFCOMM(0), 
  btpL2CAP(1)

Default Value

0

Remarks

The Protocol property specifies whether RFCOMM or L2CAP is used. Possible values are:

  • 0 (bthpRFCOMM - default)
  • 1 (bthpL2CAP)
The default value is 0 (bthpRFCOMM).

Note: Value 1 (bthpL2CAP) is not currently supported and reserved for future use.
