CreateFolder Method

Creates a new folder.

Syntax

ANSI (Cross Platform)
char* CreateFolder(const char* lpszName, const char* lpszParentIds);

Unicode (Windows)
LPWSTR CreateFolder(LPCWSTR lpszName, LPCWSTR lpszParentIds);
- (NSString*)createFolder:(NSString*)name :(NSString*)parentIds;
#define MID_GOOGLEDRIVE_CREATEFOLDER 7

IPWORKSCLOUD_EXTERNAL int IPWORKSCLOUD_CALL IPWorksCloud_GoogleDrive_Do(void *lpObj, int methid, int cparam, void *param[], int cbparam[], int64 *lpllVal);

Remarks

This method creates a new folder with the specified Name and returns its Id. ParentIds can be a list of existing folder Ids to use as parents for the new folder, or empty string to create the folder at the root of the drive.

If the IncludeFolderProperties configuration setting is true when this method is called, the class will include the metadata held by the first item in the Resource* properties when creating the folder. (Note that the Name and ParentIds passed to this method will take precedence.)

Google treats files and folders in the same way, and folders are included when listing resources. The ResourceType property can be used to determine if a resource is a folder or a file.

To list, delete, and update folders use the ListResources, DeleteResource, and UpdateResource methods.

Error Handling (C++)

This method returns a String value; after it returns, call the GetLastErrorCode() method to obtain its result code; 0 indicates success, while a non-zero error code indicates that this method encountered an error during its execution. If an error occurs, the GetLastError() method can be called to retrieve the associated error message.
