CompleteMultipartUpload Method

Completes a multipart upload by assembling the previously uploaded parts.

Syntax

public void completeMultipartUpload(String multipartFileId);

Remarks

This method completes the multipart upload of the file specified by MultipartFileId. The server will assemble all of the parts that have been uploaded into a single file. (Note: The assembled file keeps MultipartFileId as its Id.)

Note that this method automatically calls ListParts internally to obtain the information needed to complete the multipart upload. This process does not alter the Parts collection, nor does it cause the PartList event to fire.

The currently-authenticated application key must have the writeFiles capability to call this method successfully, otherwise the server will return an error. Refer to the Account.Capabilities field for more information.
