FetchMessagePart Method

Retrieves the message part specified by PartID.

Syntax

ANSI (Cross Platform)
int FetchMessagePart(const char* lpszPartId);

Unicode (Windows)
INT FetchMessagePart(LPCWSTR lpszPartId);
- (void)fetchMessagePart:(NSString*)partId;
#define MID_PIMAP_FETCHMESSAGEPART 21

IPWORKSOPENPGP_EXTERNAL int IPWORKSOPENPGP_CALL IPWorksOpenPGP_PIMAP_Do(void *lpObj, int methid, int cparam, void *param[], int cbparam[], int64 *lpllVal);

Remarks

This method retrieves the contents of the message part specified by the PartId property of the message specified by the MessageSet property. If the LocalFile property contains a file name, the message part is stored in LocalFile, and the Transfer events denote the progress. If the LocalFile property contains an empty string, the message part is stored in the MessageText property, as well as provided through the Transfer event.

The part identifiers of each message part (if any) are provided through the corresponding MessagePart events.

Error Handling (C++)

This method returns a result code; 0 indicates success, while a non-zero error code indicates that this method encountered an error during its execution. If an error occurs, the GetLastError() method can be called to retrieve the associated error message. (Note: This method's result code can also be obtained by calling the GetLastErrorCode() method after it returns.)
