message_count Property

The number of messages in the mailbox.

Syntax

def get_message_count() -> int: ...

message_count = property(get_message_count, None)

0

Remarks

This property contains the number of messages in the mailbox. When the class is not connected to the server, the value of this property is 0. When connected, it contains the number of messages in the mail box as reported by the POP server.
