ReadyToSend Property
Indicates whether the class is ready to send data.
Syntax
amqp.getReadyToSend([callback])
Default Value
FALSE
Callback
The 'callback' parameter specifies a function which will be called when the operation completes (or an error is encountered). If the 'callback' parameter is not specified, then the method will block and will not return until the operation completes (or an error is encountered).
The callback for the getReadyToSend([callback]) method is defined as:
function(err, data){ }
'err' is the error that occurred. If there was no error, then 'err' is 'null'.
'data' is the value returned by the method.
The callback for the setReadyToSend([callback]) method is defined as:
function(err){ }
'err' is the error that occurred. If there was no error, then 'err' is 'null'.
'err' has 2 properties which hold detailed information:
err.code err.message
Remarks
This property indicates that the underlying TCP/IP subsystem is ready to accept data. This is True after connecting to the remote host, and will become False if a call to SendMessage fails due to a WOULDBLOCK condition.
Once data can be sent again, the ReadyToSend event will fire and this property will be True.
If a WOULDBLOCK error occurs while sending a message the class will automatically complete the transmission when sending is possible. No action needs to be taken to re-send the message. ReadyToSend will fire after the class completes any partially sent messages.
This property is read-only and not available at design time.
