UpdateWillTopic Method

Update the will topic, will QoS and will retain flag stored in session state data by the server.

Syntax

int UpdateWillTopic();

Remarks

When this message is called, the value of WillTopic, WillQOS and WillRetain will be used to update the will message stored by the server.

This method may be called when these values are empty, in this case the server values will be cleared.

Error Handling

This method returns a result code; 0 indicates success, while a non-zero error code indicates that this method encountered an error during its execution. If an error occurs, the GetLastError() method can be called to retrieve the associated error message. (Note: This method's result code can also be obtained by calling the GetLastErrorCode() method after it returns.)
