Connect Method

Connects to an IMAP server.

Syntax

async imap.connect(): Promise<void>

Remarks

This method connects to the IMAP server specified by MailServer and authenticates using the user name and password supplied in the User and Password properties.

Example (Connect IMAP Server)


IMAPControl.MailServer = "myserver"
IMAPControl.Mailbox = "INBOX"
IMAPControl.User = "myusername"
IMAPControl.Password = "mypassword"
IMAPControl.Connect()

IMAPControl.MailServer = "myserver"
