bind Method

Connects and binds to the directory server.

Syntax

def bind() -> None: ...

Remarks

This method connects and binds to the directory server. If the password property has a value, it is used for authentication. If not, the Bind is performed anonymously. Binding is often required on some directory servers like Active Directory. The result of the operation is returned via the on_result event.
