Introduction
Welcome to IPWorks SSL, a secure suite of modules where SSL/TLS is the only option. IPWorks SSL is a subset of our flagship IPWorks toolkit intended for environments where security must be enforced. IPWorks SSL modules are drop-in replacements for their IPWorks counterpart, and will throw an error if plaintext communication is attempted. The enterprise-class modules facilitate tasks, such as ensuring security, sending e-mails, transferring files, managing networks, browsing the web, consuming web services, and more.
| CertMgr | The CertMgr module is used to create, read, and manage certificates. |
| FTP | The FTP Module can be used to transfer files to and from FTP servers using the FTP protocol. |
| HTMLMailer | The HTMLMailer Module is used to send HTML emails, including embedded images. |
| HTTP | The HTTP Module can be used to retrieve documents from the World Wide Web. |
| IMAP | The IMAP Module is used to communicate with IMAP servers using the Internet Message Access Protocol (IMAP). |
| LDAP | The Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP) Module is used to search, manage, and maintain internet directory servers. |
| OAuth | The OAuth module is used to authorize a client and provide an authorization string used in future requests. |
| POP | The POP Module is used to easily retrieve electronic mail from internet post office servers (POP). |
| REST | The REST Module can be used to retrieve XML documents from the World Wide Web. |
| SMTP | The SMTP Module is used to send internet mail using the SMTP protocol (the internet mail standard). |
| SOAP | The SOAP Module is a generic SOAP client supporting SOAP 1.1 that is used to communicate with SOAP servers. |
| SSLClient | The SSLClient Module is a generic Transmission Control Protocol (TCP) stream client based on an asynchronous, event-driven architecture. |
| SSLServer | The SSLServer Module is a generic Transmission Control Protocol (TCP) server module based on an asynchronous, event-driven architecture. It is designed to balance the load between connections for a fast, powerful server. |
| Telnet | The Telnet Module is used to communicate with servers implementing the TELNET protocol. |
| WebDAV | The WebDAV Module implements an easy-to-use interface to the Web Distributed Authoring and Versioning (WebDAV) protocol. |
