CreateKey Method

Creates a new keyset associated with the provided name.

Syntax

certmgrcontrol.CreateKey KeyName

Remarks

This method will create a new keyset (public/private key pair) within the Cryptographic Service Provider (CSP) used by the control. The CSP can be set using the CSP configuration setting.

NOTE: This functionality is only available in Windows.
