Introduction

Welcome to IPWorks LLM, a suite of components for building applications powered by large language models. The toolkit provides native clients for the OpenAI, Anthropic, and Google Gemini APIs, including support for any OpenAI-compatible endpoint, with chat, streaming, tool calling, and embeddings support through simple, easy-to-use, and intuitive APIs.

The toolkit also creates and validates Content Credentials. It signs assets with a C2PA Manifest that records who produced the content, with which tool, and whether generative AI was involved, and validates those manifests on the receiving side, including certificate chain and content binding checks.

Included Components

Anthropic	Provides direct access to the Anthropic Claude Messages API for sending and streaming messages, working with content blocks and tools, counting tokens, and listing models.
C2PASigner	Creates a C2PA Manifest, signs it, and embeds it into an asset.
C2PAVerifier	Extracts and validates the C2PA Manifests embedded in an asset.
Gemini	Provides an easy way to generate content with, create embeddings from, and list models of the Google Gemini API.
LLMClient	Provides a single, provider-neutral way to generate replies with, call tools through, create embeddings with, count tokens for, and list models of the OpenAI, Anthropic, and Google Gemini APIs, and of the many services that implement one of them.
OpenAI	Provides an easy way to chat with, embed text with, and list models from OpenAI and any OpenAI-compatible Chat Completions endpoint.
