Isolated Mode

Isolated mode ensures that each Windows user has their own settings independent of other users on the system. In AES Drive, Isolated Mode is always enabled. Isolated Mode governs the location in the registry where the configuration is read. All configuration is read from the HKEY_CURRENT_USER hive, and is completely separate for each local user account. As a result, each local Windows user will be able to manage their own drive list and application settings. The user's list of drives and application settings will persist across logging in and logging out.

Isolated Mode does not impact drive accessibility, which is detailed in the Drive Accessibility section.
