SignatureType Property

The signature type that was used to sign the SOAP message.

Syntax

public int getSignatureType();



Enumerated values:
  public final static int sstUnknown = 0;
  public final static int sstWSSSignature = 1;
  public final static int sstSOAPSignature = 2;

Remarks

Use this property to get the signature type that was used to sign the SOAP message.

Supported values:

sstWSSSignature uses Web Services Security (WS-Security, WSS) signature. It is implemented according to the OASIS Web Services Security extension to SOAP.

sstSOAPSignature uses SOAP signature. It is implemented according to the SOAP Security Extensions: Digital Signature.

This property is read-only and not available at design time.
