BeforeCertificateValidation Event
Reports the start of certificate validation.
Syntax
ANSI (Cross Platform) virtual int FireBeforeCertificateValidation(CertificateValidatorBeforeCertificateValidationEventParams *e);
typedef struct {
const char *Cert;
const char *CACert; int reserved; } CertificateValidatorBeforeCertificateValidationEventParams; Unicode (Windows) virtual INT FireBeforeCertificateValidation(CertificateValidatorBeforeCertificateValidationEventParams *e);
typedef struct {
LPCWSTR Cert;
LPCWSTR CACert; INT reserved; } CertificateValidatorBeforeCertificateValidationEventParams;
- (void)onBeforeCertificateValidation:(NSString*)cert :(NSString*)CACert;
#define EID_CERTIFICATEVALIDATOR_BEFORECERTIFICATEVALIDATION 5 virtual INT SECUREBLACKBOX_CALL FireBeforeCertificateValidation(LPSTR &lpszCert, LPSTR &lpszCACert);
Remarks
This event is fired when the class is about to start validating Cert with CACert.
A 'validation' is a single step of validating a certificate with its CA certificate. A row of consecutive validations of the same certificate with different CAs are grouped into 'processings.'
The firing of AfterCertificateValidation marks the end of the certificate validation step.
