Syntax

messagedecompressor.decompress([callback])

The callback for this method is defined as:

'err' is the error that occurred. If there was no error, then 'err' is 'null'.

'err' has 2 properties which hold detailed information:

err.code
err.message

Remarks

Call this method to decompress a PKCS#7-compliant compressed message. Use InputFile or InputStream to provide the compressed data to the component.

Note that the class works with PKCS7 blobs containing CompressedData type. It can't be used to decompress plain ZIP, GZIP, or BZIP2 archives.
