encrypt Method

Encrypts the provided data using a key stored on the KMIP server.

Syntax

def encrypt(unique_identifier: str) -> None: ...

Remarks

Use this method to encrypt the data using the key with the specified UniqueIdentifier. Provide the data to be encrypted via input_file or input_stream. The encrypted data will be saved to output_file (or output_stream).
