encrypted_data_type Property

Specifies the type of the data being encrypted.

Syntax

def get_encrypted_data_type() -> int: ...

This property specifies the data type to be encrypted.

Supported values:


cxedtElement	`0`	The XML element is encrypted. xml_node property specifies the XML element that should be encrypted.
cxedtContent	`1`	Element content is encrypted. xml_node property specifies the XML element which content should be encrypted.
cxedtExternal	`2`	External data is encrypted. Use external_data property to set the data that should be encrypted. xml_node property specifies the location where xenc:EncryptedData element should be placed.

If the xml_node property is set to the empty string, and the input_stream and input_file properties are not provided, then a new XML document will be created with the xenc:EncryptedData element as a document element.
