GetIDProp Method

Returns an element of the SAML ID.

Syntax

QString GetIDProp(const QString& qsID, const QString& qsPropName);

Remarks

This is a utility method that simplifies retrieval of a specific property within a SAML ID. Pass the name of the ID property to the PropName parameter, and the ID to the ID parameter.

The following ID properties are supported:

• Format
• NameQualifier
• IDType
• SPNameQualifier
• SPProvidedID
• Value

Error Handling

This method returns a String value; after it returns, call the GetLastErrorCode() method to obtain its result code; 0 indicates success, while a non-zero error code indicates that this method encountered an error during its execution. If an error occurs, the GetLastError() method can be called to retrieve the associated error message.
