SocketTimeout Property

The maximum period of waiting, in milliseconds, after which the socket operation is considered unsuccessful.

The maximum period of waiting, in milliseconds, after which the socket operation is considered unsuccessful.

If Timeout is set to 0, a socket operation will expire after the system-default timeout (2 hrs 8 min for TCP stack).
