Distributed Cryptography (DC) add-on
Distributed Cryptography add-on lets you sign the documents and data remotely without downloading the signed data. For example, if you generate a PDF document on the server, and need the client to sign this document with a client's certificate, with this add-on you don't need to download the document to the client side for signing. The add-on lets clients sign data using the browser applet or ActiveX control. Additionally, DC add-on lets you implement the inverted scheme, where the data to sign reside on the client, and the signing key is stored elsewhere, like in the remote key vault.
