Remarks

Name of the wage type.

Each payroll wage item describes and names a payment scheme, for example: "Regular Pay" or "Overtime Pay". A EarningsWageName or EarningsWageId refers to one of these wage items.

Within QuickBooks, a timesheet can specify a payroll wage item only if the following criteria are met:

  • The name on the timesheet (which corresponds to the EntityRef in the TimeTracking object) is on the QuickBooks Employee list, and
  • The "Use time data to create paychecks" preference turned on in the Payroll Info window that gives information about that employee in QuickBooks.
Name/Id Reference Properties

This property is used to reference an object that is already done within QuickBooks. This may be done with its full Name (this property) or its Id, for which a corresponding property is defined. If Name is used, it must contain the full name of the object referred to, as generated by QuickBooks. For hierarchically defined objects, such as Customers, this includes the names of parent objects, and the full name can be determined by reading the FullName special property.

Setting the value of this property will set the corresponding Id property to an empty string.

The size of the array is controlled by the EarningsCount property.

This property is not available at design time.
