ListChanges Method

List recent changes to a folder.

Syntax

dropbox.listChanges([callback])

Callback

The 'callback' parameter specifies a function which will be called when the operation completes (or an error is encountered). If the 'callback' parameter is not specified, then the method will block and will not return until the operation completes (or an error is encountered).

The callback for this method is defined as:

function(err){ }

'err' is the error that occurred. If there was no error, then 'err' is 'null'.

'err' has 2 properties which hold detailed information:

err.code
err.message

Remarks

This method may be used to list recent changes to a folder. After listing a folder's contents by calling ListResources the ChangeMarker property will be populated. This method will list changes since the time when ChangeMarker was originally created.

After calling this method ResourceCount indicates the number of resources which have been updated (if any).

To iterate over the resources set ResourceIndex to a value from 0 to ResourceCount - 1. Setting ResourceIndex populates other Resource properties to provide information about the resource.
