KeyUsageFlags Property
Flags that show the intended use for the key.

keymgr.getKeyUsageFlags([callback])

Callback
The 'callback' parameter specifies a function which will be called when the operation completes (or an error is encountered). If the 'callback' parameter is not specified, then the method will block and will not return until the operation completes (or an error is encountered).
The callback for the getKeyUsageFlags([callback]) method is defined as:
function(err, data){ }
'err' is the error that occurred. If there was no error, then 'err' is 'null'.
'data' is the value returned by the method.
The callback for the setKeyUsageFlags([callback]) method is defined as:
function(err){ }
'err' is the error that occurred. If there was no error, then 'err' is 'null'.
'err' has 2 properties which hold detailed information:
err.code err.message
Remarks
Flags that show the intended use for the key. The default value is 0x0F. The value of KeyUsageFlags is a combination of the following flags:
0x01 | This key may be used to certify other keys. |
0x02 | This key may be used to sign data. |
0x0C | This key may be used to encrypt communications and encrypt storage. |
0x10 | The private component of this key may have been split by a secret-sharing mechanism. |
0x20 | This key may be used for authentication. |
0x80 | The private component of this key may be in the possession of more than one person. |
