Introduction
Welcome to IPWorks, a comprehensive developer suite of Secure Sockets Layer (SSL)-enabled modules that simplifies the process of adding secure internet connectivity to any application, on any platform. The 40-plus enterprise-class modules facilitate tasks, such as ensuring security, sending e-mails, transferring files, managing networks, browsing the web, consuming web services, and more.
| CalDAV | The CalDAV Module implements an easy-to-use interface to the Calendaring Extensions to the Web Distributed Authoring and Versioning protocol (WebDAV). In this manner the CalDAV protocol specifies a standard way of accessing, managing, and sharing calendar events based on the iCalendar format. |
| CardDAV | The CardDAV module makes it easy to access, share, manage, upload, and download contact data based on the vCard format within a CardDAV server. |
| CertMgr | The CertMgr module is used to create, read, and manage certificates. |
| DNS | The DNS module is used to query DNS for record information. |
| DTLSClient | The DTLSClient module provides client-side functionality for secure UDP communication utilizing the Datagram Transport Layer Security (DTLS) protocol. |
| DTLSServer | The DTLSServer module provides server-side functionality for secure UDP communication utilizing the Datagram Transport Layer Security (DTLS) protocol. |
| FileMailer | The FileMailer Module is used to send emails with file attachments. |
| FTP | The FTP Module can be used to transfer files to and from FTP servers using the FTP protocol. |
| GRPC | The GRPC module is designed to send and receive messages over gRPC. The module can be used to both create messages to send as well as read incoming messages. |
| HTMLMailer | The HTMLMailer Module is used to send HTML emails, including embedded images. |
| HTTP | The HTTP Module can be used to retrieve documents from the World Wide Web. |
| ICMP | The ICMP module is used to facilitate ICMP communications. It can act both as a client and a server and can communicate with any number of hosts simultaneously. It also can generate and receive broadcast packets. |
| IMAP | The IMAP Module is used to communicate with IMAP servers using the Internet Message Access Protocol (IMAP). |
| IPInfo | The IPInfo module is used to resolve host names to host addresses and vice versa using an asynchronous DNS. The module provides access to other Transmission Control Protocol (TCP)/IP database functions as well. |
| IPMonitor | The IPMonitor module is used to listen to network traffic. |
| JSON | The JSON module can be used to parse and write JSON documents. |
| LDAP | The Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP) Module is used to search, manage, and maintain internet directory servers. |
| MCast | The MCast module is used to multicast User Datagram Protocol (UDP) datagrams to multicast-capable hosts in multicast-capable subnets. It can act both as a client and a server and can communicate with any number of hosts simultaneously, as well as generate and receive broadcast packets. |
| MIME | The MIME module allows for the simple encoding and decoding of MIME structures, such as message attachments and file uploads. |
| MX | The MX module enables querying of mail exchange (MX) records from a Domain Name Server (DNS). Thus, it will find out the names of the mail servers accepting email for a given email address or domain. |
| NetClock | The NetClock module provides the current time in Greenwich Mean Time from an Internet Time Server. |
| NetCode | The NetCode module can be used to encode or decode files or strings using a variety of popular encoding formats, such as Base64, UUencode, and URL. UUEncode , MIME's Base64 Quoted-Printable , and URL encoding formats, as well as secure hash functions such as MD5 and SHA1, are currently supported. |
| OAuth | The OAuth module is used to authorize a client and provide an authorization string used in future requests. |
| OData | The OData module implements the Open Data Protocol (OData). It can be used to query, parse, and update or modify data contained within an OData service. |
| Ping | The PING module encapsulates Internet Control Message Protocol (ICMP) ECHO functionality, which is used to check whether there is a communications link between two computers. |
| POP | The POP Module is used to easily retrieve electronic mail from internet post office servers (POP). |
| RCP | The RCP module implements the popular UNIX Remote Copy Protocol, used to transfer files between systems. |
| REST | The REST Module can be used to retrieve XML documents from the World Wide Web. |
| RSS | The RSS Module is used to retrieve, parse, edit, and write RSS-syndicated content. |
| S3 | The S3 module provides an easy-to-use interface for Amazon S3 and other S3-compatible services. |
| SMPP | The SMPP Module implements a lightweight message transmission interface using the Short Message Peer-to-Peer protocol, most known for its use in cellular text messaging. |
| SMTP | The SMTP Module is used to send internet mail using the SMTP protocol (the internet mail standard). |
| SOAP | The SOAP Module is a generic SOAP client supporting SOAP 1.1 that is used to communicate with SOAP servers. |
| SysLog | The Syslog module is used to send and receive network system log packets. |
| TCPClient | The TCPClient Module is a generic Transmission Control Protocol (TCP) stream client based on an asynchronous, event-driven architecture. |
| TCPServer | The TCPServer Module is a generic Transmission Control Protocol (TCP) server module based on an asynchronous, event-driven architecture. It is designed to balance the load between connections for a fast, powerful server. |
| Telnet | The Telnet Module is used to communicate with servers implementing the TELNET protocol. |
| TFTPClient | The TFTPClient module is used to exchange files with TFTP servers via the TFTP protocol defined in RFC 783. |
| TFTPServer | The TFTP Server Module is used to create a TFTP Server. |
| TraceRoute | The TraceRoute module allows you to trace the path that the IP packets take on the Internet. |
| UDP | The User Datagram Protocol (UDP) module is used to facilitate UDP (datagram) communications. It can act both as a client and a server and communicate with any number of hosts simultaneously, as well as generate and receive broadcast packets. |
| WebDAV | The WebDAV Module implements an easy-to-use interface to the Web Distributed Authoring and Versioning (WebDAV) protocol. |
| WebForm | The WebForm Module is used to POST data to interactive web pages or scripts (e.g., CGI, ASP), similar to what HTML forms do. |
| WebUpload | The WebUpload Module is used to upload files to RFC 1867-compliant web servers. |
| WSClient | The WSClient module is used to establish a WebSocket connection to a server. |
| WSServer | The WSServer module is used to create a WebSocket server. |
