WriteFile Method

Write an Atom feed from the component.

Syntax

public void writeFile(String filename);

Remarks

This method will write an Atom feed from the existing property values to Filename. The Atom feed will be pre-verified and if any missing required fields are encountered, the bean throws an exception.

Example (Add an Item and Write)

AtomControl.Entries.Add(New AtomEntry())
AtomControl.Entries[0].Content = "New Item Description"
AtomControl.Entries[0].LinkHref = "http://itemurl"
AtomControl.WriteFile(filename)
