IP*Works! V9
Welcome to IP*Works!, the latest release of the most robust and most comprehensive suite of enterprise-class software components for Internet Communications. Actively developed for nearly 2 decades the IP*Works! V9 code-base provides a rock-solid foundation of over 40 individual software components for integrating easy-to-use and reliable Internet connectivity into any application, on any platform.
Beans Included
Atom | The Atom Component is used to retrieve, parse, and update Atom content. |
CalDAV | The CalDAV Component implements an easy-to-use interface to the Calendaring Extensions to the Web Distributed Authoring and Versioning protocol (WebDAV). In this manner the CalDAV protocol specifies a standard way of accessing, managing, and sharing calendaring and scheduling information based on the iCalendar format. |
DNS | The DNS component is used to query DNS for record information. |
FileMailer | The FileMailer Component is used to send emails with file attachments. |
FTP | The FTP Component can be used to transfer files to and from FTP servers using the FTP Protocol. |
HTMLMailer | The HTMLMailer Component is used to send HTML email including embedded images. |
HTTP | The HTTP Component can be used to retrieve documents from the World Wide Web. |
IMAP | The IMAP Component is used to communicate with IMAP servers using the IMAP (Internet Message Access) protocol. |
IPDaemon | The IPDaemon Component is a generic TCP server component based on an asynchronous, event-driven architecture. It is designed to balance the load between connections for a fast, powerful server. |
IPInfo | The IPInfo component is used to resolve host names to host addresses and vice-versa using asynchronous DNS. The component provides access to other TCP/IP database functions as well. |
IPPort | The IPPort Component is a generic TCP stream client based on an asynchronous, event-driven architecture. |
JSON | The JSON Component can be used to easily integrate with web services that produce JSON output. |
LDAP | The LDAP Component is used to search, manage, and maintain Internet Directory (LDAP) servers. |
MCast | The MCast component is used to multicast UDP datagrams to multicast capable hosts in multicast capable subnets. It can act both as a client and a server and communicate with any number of hosts simultaneously, as well as generate and receive broadcast packets. |
MIME | The MIME component allows for the simple encoding and decoding of MIME structures such as message attachments, file uploads, etc. |
MX | The MX component enables querying of mail exchange (MX) records from a Domain Name Server (DNS). That is, it will find out the name(s) of the mail server(s) accepting email for a given email address or domain. |
NetClock | The NetClock component provides the current (GMT) time from an Internet Time Server. |
NetCode | The NetCode component can be used to encode or decode files or strings using a variety of popular encoding formats such as: Base64, UUencode, URL, etc. UUEncode , MIME's Base64 Quoted-Printable , URL encoding formats, as well as secure hash functions such as MD5 and SHA1, are currently supported. |
NNTP | The NNTP Component is used to read, search, and post articles on Usenet news servers. |
OData | The OData component implements the Open Data Protocol (OData). It can be used to query, parse, and update/modify data contained within an OData service. |
POP | The POP Component is used to easily retrieve electronic mail from Internet Post Office servers (POP). |
RCP | The RCP component implements the popular UNIX Remote Copy Protocol, used to transfer files between systems. |
REST | The REST Component can be used to retrieve XML documents from the World Wide Web. |
Rexec | The Rexec component is used to execute commands on a remote UNIX machine using the rexec mechanism. |
Rshell | The Rshell component is used to execute commands on a remote Unix machine using the rshell mechanism. |
RSS | The RSS Component is used to retrieve, parse, edit, and write RSS syndicated content. |
SMPP | The Smpp Component implements a lightweight message transmission interface using the Short Message Peer-to-Peer protocol, most known for its use in cellular text messaging. |
SMTP | The SMTP Component is used to send Internet mail using the SMTP protocol (the Internet mail standard). |
SNPP | The SNPP Component is used to send pages through the internet using the SNPP protocol. |
SOAP | The SOAP Component is a generic SOAP client supporting SOAP 1.1 that is used to communicate with SOAP servers. |
SysLog | The Syslog component is used to send and receive network system log packets. |
Telnet | The Telnet Component is used to communicate with servers implementing the TELNET protocol. |
TFTP | The TFTPClient component is used to exchange files with TFTP servers via the TFTP protocol defined in RFC 783. |
UDPPort | The UDPPort component is used to facilitate UDP (datagram) communications. It can act both as a client and a server and communicate with any number of hosts simultaneously, as well as generate and receive broadcast packets. |
WebDAV | The WebDAV Component implements an easy-to-use interface to the Web Distributed Authoring and Versioning protocol (WebDAV). |
WebForm | The WebForm Component is used to POST data to interactive web pages or scripts (CGI, ASP, etc.), similar to what HTML forms do. |
WebUpload | The WebUpload Component is used to upload files to RFC1867-compliant web servers. |
Whois | The Whois component allows you to query a WHOIS Server for Domain registration information. |
