WriteFile Method

Write an Atom feed from the component.

Syntax

[VB.NET]
Public Sub WriteFile(ByVal Filename As String)

[C#]
public void WriteFile(string filename);

Remarks

This method will write an Atom feed from the existing property values to Filename. The Atom feed will be pre-verified and if any missing required fields are encountered, the component throws an exception.

Example (Add an Item and Write)

AtomControl.Entries.Add(New AtomEntry())
AtomControl.Entries[0].Content = "New Item Description"
AtomControl.Entries[0].LinkHref = "http://itemurl"
AtomControl.WriteFile(filename)
