create_message Method

Adds a message to a queue.

Syntax

def create_message(queue_id: str, message: str) -> str: ...

Remarks

Adds a message to the queue specified. If visibility_timeout is specified it is updated for all the messages in the queue.

on_create_message returns a message id assigned to the message that is added to a queue. This can then be used to list_messages or delete_message.

Note: When adding a message to a FIFO queue, the MessageGroupId configuration setting must be populated before calling this method.
