CreateFolder Method
Creates a folder with the specified name.
Syntax
box.createFolder(folderName, [callback])
Callback
The 'callback' parameter specifies a function which will be called when the operation completes (or an error is encountered). If the 'callback' parameter is not specified, then the method will block and will not return until the operation completes (or an error is encountered).
The callback for this method is defined as:
function(err, data){ }
'err' is the error that occurred. If there was no error, then 'err' is 'null'.
'data' is the value returned by the method.
'err' has 2 properties which hold detailed information:
err.code err.message
Remarks
This method creates a new folder with the name specified by the FolderName parameter.
To create a sub-folder set ResourceParentId to the id of the parent folder. This method returns the Id of the newly created folder. Naming restrictions:
- Names must be 255 characters or less.
- Names with non-printable ASCII are not supported.
- Names with the characters "/", "\", or trailing whitespace are not supported.
- The special names "." and ".." are not supported.
