SetProperty Method
Set the value of a property.
Syntax
int SetProperty(const QString& qsPropertyName, const QString& qsPropertyValue);
Remarks
This method is used to set a single property to a certain value. The name and new value of the property must be supplied in the parameters for this method.
NOTE: This is the same as calling the PatchProperties on one property where the operation is opSet.
Example
Control.SetProperty(
"MyProperty"
,
"MyValue"
)
is equivalent to:
Control.PropertyCount = 1
Control.PropertyName(0) =
"MyProperty"
Control.PropertyValue(0) =
"MyValue"
Control.PropertyOperation(0) = opSet
Control.PatchProperties()
Error Handling
This method returns a result code; 0 indicates success, while a non-zero error code indicates that this method encountered an error during its execution. If an error occurs, the GetLastError() method can be called to retrieve the associated error message. (Note: This method's result code can also be obtained by calling the GetLastErrorCode() method after it returns.)
