transfer_mode Property

The transfer mode (ASCII or Binary). If the value is 0 (default), the initial server mode will be used.

Syntax

def get_transfer_mode() -> int: ...
def set_transfer_mode(value: int) -> None: ...

transfer_mode = property(get_transfer_mode, set_transfer_mode)

This property specifies the transfer mode, either ASCII or binary. The valid options for the transfer_mode property are as follows:


tmDefault (0)	The initial mode of the FTP server is taken. No change.
tmASCII (1)	Files are transferred in ASCII mode (TYPE A).
tmBinary (2)	Files are transferred in Binary mode (TYPE I).
