SaveBytes Method

Compresses the archive and saves it to a byte array.

Syntax

ANSI (Cross Platform)
char* SaveBytes(int *lpSize = NULL);

Unicode (Windows)
LPSTR SaveBytes(LPINT lpSize = NULL);
- (NSData*)saveBytes;
#define MID_ARCHIVEWRITER_SAVEBYTES 14

SECUREBLACKBOX_EXTERNAL int SECUREBLACKBOX_CALL SecureBlackbox_ArchiveWriter_Do(void *lpObj, int methid, int cparam, void *param[], int cbparam[], int64 *lpllVal);

Remarks

Use this method to finalize all preparations and compress all entries contained in the Files collection. The methodreturns the byte array containing the serialized archive.

You can fine-tune the compression process by providing compression details on the flyvia the events class fires. See the description of the Save method for the details.

Error Handling (C++)

This method returns a Byte Array value (with length lpSize); after it returns, call the GetLastErrorCode() method to obtain its result code; 0 indicates success, while a non-zero error code indicates that this method encountered an error during its execution. If an error occurs, the GetLastError() method can be called to retrieve the associated error message.
