ValidateForSSL Method
Validates a server-side SSL/TLS certificate.
Syntax
ANSI (Cross Platform) int ValidateForSSL(const char* lpszURL, const char* lpszIPAddress); Unicode (Windows) INT ValidateForSSL(LPCWSTR lpszURL, LPCWSTR lpszIPAddress);
- (int)validateForSSL:(NSString*)URL :(NSString*)IPAddress;
#define MID_CERTIFICATEVALIDATOR_VALIDATEFORSSL 8 SECUREBLACKBOX_EXTERNAL int SECUREBLACKBOX_CALL SecureBlackbox_CertificateValidator_Do(void *lpObj, int methid, int cparam, void *param[], int cbparam[], int64 *lpllVal);
Remarks
Use this method to validate a server-side SSL/TLS certificate.
This is a variant of Validate method that performs some additional TLS-specific checks. It is important that you provide a correct URL or IPAddress for the check to return a reasonable and justified result.
This method returns the overall result of the chain validation.
Error Handling (C++)
This method returns an Integer value; after it returns, call the GetLastErrorCode() method to obtain its result code; 0 indicates success, while a non-zero error code indicates that this method encountered an error during its execution. If an error occurs, the GetLastError() method can be called to retrieve the associated error message.
